Should I see a Physio?
I've been to see many physios over the years to treat various injuries. Would I recommend them? as a whole, yes. But more than that I would recommend you doing the exercises they say and hopefully you won't need to see them too much afterwards.
Ask any group of runners and most of them will have had an injury of some sort over the last 18 months. As you get older - certainly for me anyway - you don't 100% cure injuries, you manage them and try to avoid them becoming worse.
The thing i've learned most in the last few years is the need to stretch, strengthen, manage training loads and recover well. Perhaps the best thing a physio can do is to tell you what your injury is. This may seem obvious but often knee or calf pain etc can be the result of weakness elsewhere that needs corrected.
